In 2016 IAT Insurance Group deployed Duck Creek Insights as part of a full suite Duck Creek implementation hosted on the Duck Creek On-Demand platform. Duck Creek Insights is the Analytics and BI component used to centralize reporting and analytics across policy, billing and claims business functions within the enterprise platform. The implementation included the Duck Creek policy, billing, claims and insights modules, with Duck Creek Insights configured for interactive dashboards, scheduled reporting and analytic models that consume policy and claims data feeds. Configuration work emphasized data staging and normalization to support underwriting analytics, billing reconciliation and claims trend analysis consistent with Analytics and BI workflows. Integrations were implemented with third party systems including Hyland OnBase and downstream legacy systems, enabling document linkage and downstream data flows into Duck Creek Insights. The deployment used the Duck Creek On-Demand architecture to provide a cloud hosted analytics layer integrated with the broader Duck Creek suite and surrounding application ecosystem. Governance and delivery were restructured alongside the technical rollout, with the delivery organization transformed to include offshore engagement and delivery practices. An agile transformation was executed using continuous delivery and continuous integration principles and tools, and governance focused on release automation, data quality controls and cross functional workflows between policy administration, billing and claims teams.
