The EPM deployment targeted enterprise reporting and planning use cases to provide transparent management reports across finance and operational departments, while retaining SAP as the core transactional system for business operations. The implementation mapped the balance sheet and profit and loss into Jedox and established management reporting and dashboarding as first wave deliverables. The project team then configured web applications for project and service planning and deployed cost center planning, with modules that load actuals from SAP and write back finalized budgets, reflecting standard EPM planning and consolidation workflows. Jedox Enterprise Performance Management was integrated with SAP using the Jedox SAP Connector, enabling structured data transfer between in house SAP experts and management accountants. A local Jedox partner, iXLOG, provided coaching throughout the project, supporting the BI platform architecture and the step by step migration of Excel models into Jedox based web applications. Governance was centered on a management accountant led project team that defined the financial mapping and budget write back process, creating a foundation for ongoing management reporting. Cost center planning went live in five days, and the vendor selection followed extensive market comparisons where Jedox was noted for broad functionality, fast performance and ease of use at a competitive price. |
