In 2017 Ibeu implemented Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) as its primary Collaboration platform. The Brazil-based non profit with approximately 350 employees provisioned the suite to centralize email, calendar, and document collaboration across administrative, program, and communications functions, and the implementation is referenced on the organization website.
Deployment encompassed core Google Workspace modules including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Google Groups, and the Admin console, configured into organizational units and role-based access. Configuration emphasized shared drives for departmental content, centralized email domains, and collaborative document workflows using Google Docs and Sheets to standardize content creation and review.
The Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) instance was surfaced on the public site to support contact routing and staff directory visibility while serving as the backbone for internal collaboration across Ibeu in Brazil. Integration work concentrated on identity and account provisioning through the Admin console and on group-based distribution lists to align communications between programs, fundraising, and external relations teams.
Governance relied on the Admin console for account lifecycle management, Google Groups for distribution and access control, and applied administrative policies for mobile device management and sharing settings to protect institutional content. Rollout followed an organizational unit model to sequence provisioning by department and to enforce consistent collaboration policies across the institution.
