In 2018, Icon Construction implemented ConnX Core HR to centralize HR recordkeeping and administrative workflows across its Australian operations, with particular operational focus on head office functions and NSW-wide training coordination. The deployment positioned ConnX Core HR as the primary Core HR platform for contract and employee data management for a 1500 employee organization, supporting role changes, promotions and total employment package updates within a single HRIS.
ConnX Core HR was configured to manage end to end onboarding and offboarding lifecycle processes, including offer of employment generation, new starter packs, induction and probation processes, termination checklists and structured exit interviews. The system also handled managed training bookings via a booking matrix, administration of leave management and conditions of employment, and coordination of redundancy and superannuation contribution workflows.
Operational coverage extended beyond traditional HR to include facilities and administrative services, with ConnX Core HR used to coordinate supply of PPE and staff uniforms, office management tasks such as maintaining supplies and equipment, event planning assistance for executives, reception phone handling and intranet maintenance, and executive diary management. The platform supported transaction and financial accounting workflows for the accounts payable team and expense management for executives, and it was the system of record for liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and building management for head office needs.
Governance and process standardization accompanied the rollout, with ConnX Core HR used to codify checklists and administrative procedures across onboarding, probation and termination processes, and to co-create and administer Icon Constructions health and wellbeing program centered on four pillars, physical, financial, mental and community wellbeing. Day to day HR administration was centralized in ConnX Core HR to provide consistent support to staff and managers on leave, employment conditions and related HR inquiries.

In 2019, Icon Construction implemented Viewpoint Spectrum as its Construction ERP to centralize financial and operational information across multiple business subdivisions. The deployment focused on strengthening finance and project accounting functions while consolidating transactional and master data into Viewpoint Spectrum.
Configuration work prioritized data migration and validation, with teams consolidating, reviewing and transferring data for multiple subdivisions into Viewpoint Spectrum. The implementation established structured financial close workflows and accounting reconciliation processes, and it formalized audit support procedures that increased auditing efficiency by 25 percent through planning and active communication with the audit team and subdivisions.
Operational coverage included corporate governance reporting and month end control activities across the organization, where the company reduced the time to submit critical governance reports from three weeks to one week. Implementation activities also included coordination and practical execution of the Transitional Services Deed, TSD between buyer and seller entities to ensure continuity of services during the ownership transition.
Governance and process changes centered on tighter month end procedures, review of all key accounting reconciliations, and coordinated audit communication protocols. Viewpoint Spectrum was used to instrument these controls and workflows, aligning Icon Construction Construction ERP capability with its finance, audit and reporting business functions.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft 365 | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Icon Construction implemented Microsoft 365 as its Collaboration platform. Icon Construction lists Microsoft 365 on its website, indicating a corporate Microsoft 365 tenant supporting email, real time chat, document collaboration and cloud file storage components such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. The implementation follows Collaboration category patterns by centralizing messaging, document libraries and synchronous collaboration tools for project teams and corporate staff. Microsoft 365 is used to standardize content management and team collaboration across project delivery workflows.
Architecture and operational coverage appear to include a cloud hosted tenant provisioned for corporate and project teams, with configuration for collaboration sites, shared document libraries and meeting workflows. Governance is evident through tenant level controls, administrative role separation and permissions and sharing settings to manage project artifacts and external collaboration. The listing of Microsoft 365 on the company website signals public facing acknowledgement of the platform for corporate communications and document access rather than revealing specific third party integrations.
