Epicor Legacy Epicor iScala Supply Chain Management Supply Chain Management SCM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Ikano Industry Poland implemented Epicor iScala Supply Chain Management to support a new factory rollout and to integrate operations with its major customer, IKEA. Epicor iScala Supply Chain Management was deployed as the core system for production, financials and logistics to support manufacturing and commercial coordination at the site. The implementation included production, financials and logistics modules as documented in the Epicor case study, with configuration focused on production scheduling, inventory control and shop floor visibility. Module usage is taken from the Epicor case study and was applied to provide real time production visibility and tighter inventory control across manufacturing processes. Integration work included connecting operational and logistics processes with IKEA’s systems to enable coordinated planning and order synchronization between Ikano Industry Poland and its customer. The deployment was scoped to support the new factory and end to end supply chain flows, covering shop floor operations, warehouse management and financial posting related to production and distribution. Operational governance was adjusted to incorporate the new system driven planning and visibility, aligning production planning and logistics workflows with IKEA’s operational cadence. The implementation produced improved inventory control, real time production visibility and integration with IKEA’s systems, enabling better planning and increased operational efficiency as reported in the source case study.
