In 2018, IMA Group implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a broader SuccessFactors program across HR. SAP SuccessFactors Compensation was deployed within the Compensation Management category and coordinated with Core HR, LMS, Recruiting, Onboarding, Budget LMS with SCP, and Performance Management modules.

| PTC | Legacy | PTC ThingWorx Asset Advisor | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, IMA Group implemented PTC ThingWorx Asset Advisor to operationalize machine data across its global packaging equipment footprint. The deployment was driven by IMA Digital and targeted customer-facing monitoring and service products, notably the Sentinel application built on the ThingWorx platform, to support machines used in pharmaceutical, food, and consumer packaging lines.
Sentinel was configured as the core Asset Performance Management application, delivering real-time asset monitoring, intelligent and dynamic action lists for operators, machine statistics for line harmonization, average performance reporting for production planning, and predictive maintenance signals. ThingWorx Kepware Server was used to normalize connectivity across legacy and modern PLCs so that data ingestion, analytics, and rule-based alerts could be implemented consistently.
The technical architecture used ThingWorx and ThingWorx Kepware Server hosted on the PTC Cloud, providing a scalable platform for data collection, storage, and analytics. Sentinel dialogues with customer ERP and MES systems and ingests telemetry from all PLCs on a unidirectional channel from machine PLC to ThingWorx, enabling line-level visibility that includes non-IMA machines and third party equipment.
Operational governance combined centralized IMA Digital product ownership with 24 x 7 Control Room Services staffed by IMA technicians who interpret ThingWorx algorithms, manage automatic alarms, and coordinate remote interventions with customer operators. The rollout emphasized servitization, shifting offerings from spare parts and break fix support to continuous monitoring, remote assistance, and data-driven operator guidance.
Explicit outcomes reported include a 360 degree operational view for customers, improved ability to analyze efficiency losses via advanced analytics, benchmarking to reduce downtime, and maintained remote support and troubleshooting capabilities during travel constraints. The implementation positions PTC ThingWorx Asset Advisor as the backbone of IMA Group's Asset Performance Management capabilities across its service portfolio.
