In 2024, Inboxroad deployed Inboxroad to handle Transactional Email for messages originating from its corporate website. The implementation is scoped to website-driven communications, addressing account verification, password resets, and customer notifications, and placing the Inboxroad application at the center of web-to-customer messaging workflows.
The deployment follows a standard Transactional Email architecture, integrating the website with Inboxroad via SMTP relay and a RESTful send API, and using the Inboxroad console for template management and configuration. Setup included domain verification with DKIM and SPF, and webhook event streams to capture bounces, deliveries, and opens for operational monitoring.
