In 2009, the Income Tax Department implemented UniServe NXT 360 Platform to digitalize citizen-facing tax communications and forms across India. The UniServe NXT 360 Platform, delivered by Intense Technologies, was deployed beginning December 2009 as part of a government citizen services initiative to enable automated generation and multi-channel distribution of income tax returns and related communications.
The deployment emphasized automated document generation, template-driven form orchestration, auto-fill data population, and multi-channel distribution capabilities consistent with the Customer Experience category. UniServe NXT 360 Platform was configured to generate IT returns and distribute them via multiple channels, supporting large volume electronic filing workflows and driving reported auto-filled information rates of approximately 85 percent.
Infosys served as the implementation partner according to the vendor testimonial, executing integration and rollout activities for citizen-facing workflows and large scale distribution across taxpayers in India. Intense Technologies reports large-scale electronic filing coverage reaching 65 million taxpayers, and the project centered on citizen communications and forms as the primary business function within the Customer Experience implementation.
