In 2011 IndelB implemented Oracle E-Business Suite - Fixed Assets as part of an Oracle EBS 12.1.3 deployment at its Italian headquarters, engaging Business Reply srl as the consulting integrator. The implementation is classified under the Enterprise Asset Management category and was executed alongside core financial and supply chain modules to align asset accounting with operational processes.
The project covered Oracle EBS modules PO, AP, GL, AR, FA, OM, INV, WIP, BOM, and CST, with a configuration emphasis on Oracle E-Business Suite - Fixed Assets for asset lifecycle accounting and control. The consulting team designed a new management control model and implemented SLA configuration for Costing, INV, and AP accounting to ensure consistent accounting treatment across modules. Functional workflows for fixed asset capitalization and depreciation scheduling were established using SLA-driven accounting rules.
Integrations were implemented within the Oracle EBS suite to sustain accounting flows between Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Inventory, and to support manufacturing controls through WIP and BOM linkages. Operational coverage was focused on the Italian headquarters, impacting finance, procurement, inventory management, and production planning functions within the manufacturing organization.
The program included a migration from EBS release 11i to R12 overseen by a Consulting Project Manager from Business Reply, delivered over 12 months with project completion in March 2012. The project budget was €150,000 and the implementation team size was six people, with work conducted in Italian. Governance centered on adoption of the new management control model, SLA-based accounting rules, and cross-module reconciliation during the rollout.
