In 2014, Ingenia Communities deployed Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial platform, replacing Epicor ERP and centralizing core finance and property accounting across the group. The implementation was positioned to support corporate financial control, procurement and real estate management for a multi-asset portfolio of seniors housing communities.
The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne rollout encompassed a standard ERP Financial footprint, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Job Costing and Real Estate Management modules. Configuration focused on property and project accounting workflows, controls for billing and receivables, and job costing capabilities aligned to development pipelines and asset-level accounting.
Project activity included a review of Ingenias Finance, Sales and Marketing systems and the development of an IT strategy to align back office and front office processes. The program also drove a CRM project, delivering a CRM roadmap and running an RFP process, establishing a roadmap for integration points between Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and future sales and marketing systems.
Governance and delivery were run through an executive steering forum and audit oversight, reporting to the CFO and the Corporate Audit and Risk Committee, with monthly Steering Committee meetings attended by the CEO, CFO and COO.
