| Skwirrel | Legacy | Skwirrel DAM | Digital Asset Management | Content Management | n/a | 2015 | 2015 | In 2015 Interduct Netherlands deployed Skwirrel DAM as part of a long running relationship with Skwirrel, and used the vendor s PIM capabilities as the central system to structure and enrich technical product data. The implementation supported e commerce and wholesale channels in the Netherlands, and explicitly included multilingual product data setups and a 2BA connection for data exchange with wholesale partners. The Skwirrel DAM deployment leveraged the platform s integrated Digital Asset Management functionality alongside Skwirrel PIM workflows to centralize product images, technical datasheets, and multilingual asset enrichment. Custom multilingual functionality was developed for Interduct to align asset metadata and product attributes, enabling consistent channel ready assets and structured product information across markets. Integrations in this implementation include the documented 2BA connection to wholesale networks and feed pathways to e commerce channels, with operational scope focused on product management, merchandising, and sales enablement teams in the Netherlands. The combined PIM and Skwirrel DAM arrangement provided a single content and asset orchestration layer for catalog publishing and channel syndication. Skwirrel s case notes indicate the relationship spans many years, with the integrated Skwirrel DAM and PIM configuration intended to improve scalability and time to market in the Netherlands. Governance centered on centralized asset and data curation workflows, and on extending multilingual configuration to support cross channel consistency. | |
