In 2013, Internap Corporation deployed a Honeywell managed WIN-PAK access control and time and attendance solution at its Atlanta headquarters, with Honeywell HON-BIOMI inferred as the biometric time clock hardware used in the rollout. Internap Corporation implemented Honeywell HON-BIOMI as a Time Clock (Hardware) component to support facility access control and HR timekeeping functions across the Atlanta site in the United States.
The implementation centered on WIN-PAK access control and time and attendance modules, Honeywell readers for biometric and card-based identification, and on premise time capture hardware consistent with Honeywell HON-BIOMI class devices. Functional capabilities included badge issuance and reader enrollment, biometric time capture for payroll reconciliation, and centralized event logging through the WIN-PAK platform.
Operationally the project was delivered as a managed service by Honeywell, with card administration outsourced to Remote Protection Systems, shifting day to day card management and administrative workflows away from Internap IT staff. The deployment was executed during an office relocation, and the managed WIN-PAK plus outsourced card administration reduced IT workload while consolidating access control and time and attendance administration at the Atlanta headquarters.
