| Deltek | Legacy | Deltek ComputerEase | Construction ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Interwest Construction implemented Deltek ComputerEase as its Construction ERP to centralize project accounting and field operations. The deployment targeted core functions including estimating, project management, field supervision, and accounting across its project portfolio, notably the Sultan River Pedestrian Bridge and the Snohomish County Courthouse addition. Deltek ComputerEase was configured to support estimator workflows, bidding and cost coding, and to manage invoicing, monthly projections and project costing. The implementation included field time capture for heavy job crew timecards, contract and subcontract management, buy out workflows for form work and materials, and functionality for RFIs and change order tracking. Operational ownership was split between project management and accounting, with project managers and superintendents using the system for daily direction, manpower tracking, quality control and scheduling, and accounting teams using it for invoices and monthly financial projections. The system supported established project controls processes such as weekly subcontractor meetings, three week look ahead scheduling and buy out status tracking to align field execution with financial records. Governance emphasized standardized cost coding and buy out approval workflows, embedding RFIs, change orders and subcontract records into a single Construction ERP record set to reduce manual reconciliation across teams. Project level users documented active use of Deltek ComputerEase from July 2018 to September 2020 as part of onsite project controls and field administration.
