The initiative targeted a merchant footprint of more than 65,000 U.S. retail locations and 75 online stores, embedding the Certegy BankPay application into Ionia’s payments portfolio to expand merchant payment options. The implementation configured BankPay’s ACH settlement and installment payment workflows, enabling BNPL authorization, scheduled ACH debits, and merchant settlement orchestration typical of Payment Processing platforms. White label configuration work included branding and merchant-facing payment flows, account tokenization for repeat purchases, and reconciliation workflows to align ACH settlement records with merchant accounting. Integration work explicitly connected the Certegy BankPay platform with CrayPay and other partner apps to present BNPL at checkout across both online storefronts and in-person point of sale locations. Operational coverage was limited to the United States, with deployment focused on onboarding merchants across the stated network and enabling e-commerce and retail acceptance channels. Governance and rollout emphasized merchant onboarding processes, co branded product configuration, and operational handoffs between Ionia, participating merchants, and Certegy for settlement and dispute handling. The deployment was a payments and finance implementation intended to expand merchant payment options and drive incremental revenue and conversion for participating merchants.
