In 2019, ITT implemented Serrala FinanceSuite as its AP Automation platform to centralize accounts payable operations. The program engaged IT, the Financial Resource Center, and business partners to consolidate financial records into a single payment orchestration and invoice management environment, with scope focused on accounts payable and shared finance processes across the company.
Serrala FinanceSuite was configured to deliver core AP Automation capabilities including automated invoice capture and validation, configurable approval workflows, supplier master data consolidation, payment scheduling, and reconciliation. Configuration included PO matching rules and exception routing to reduce manual interventions and to enable centralized invoice lifecycle management, with Dolphin components used for custom data transformation where required.
The project consolidated financial data originating in Oracle, BPCS, PRMS, Vantage and Crib master systems into a new custom system built on Dolphin and Serrala technology, aligning source ledgers and supplier records. Integrations were implemented as batch and transactional feeds into Serrala FinanceSuite for invoices, payments, and supplier master synchronization, and operational coverage included IT, the Financial Resource Center, accounts payable teams and cross-functional business partners responsible for source data remediation.
Governance and rollout were coordinated between IT and finance, instituting data mapping standards, approval hierarchies, exception management workflows and change control managed through the Financial Resource Center. Rollout sequencing emphasized staged data consolidation and partner validation of mappings and business rules.

In 2018 ITT implemented Plex ERP as its Manufacturing ERP to standardize production and supply chain workflows across manufacturing sites. The deployment targeted shop floor coordination and core manufacturing operations, aligning ERP-driven processes with IT restructuring efforts underway in the company's support organization.
Plex ERP was configured to support typical Manufacturing ERP capabilities including production control, shop floor management, inventory and materials management, quality management and traceability. Configuration work emphasized operational modules and manufacturing execution system style data capture to improve execution of production orders and supply replenishment workflows.
Operational coverage tied the Plex ERP rollout to IT support reorganization, with IT teams in Blacksburg and a Hebron Kentucky site refocused to provide ongoing application support, infrastructure upgrades and manufacturing process improvements. The implementation was positioned alongside other enterprise IT initiatives such as PLM Windchill support and BI modernization, requiring coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
Governance for the Plex ERP effort included restructuring IT support, establishing change management processes and integrating ERP operations into broader audit readiness and compliance activities. Rollout planning emphasized cross-functional workflow changes between manufacturing operations and central IT to institutionalize system ownership and sustainment.
