In 2019 JCT600 implemented Kerridge k8 ERP in the Distribution ERP category to centralize dealer accounting, inventory control, and aftersales financial workflows. JCT600 deployed Kerridge k8 ERP as the core Distribution ERP supporting month end reconciliation, dealer dealbook processing, and consolidated financial reporting for its dealer network.
The implementation included finance and accounting capabilities such as monthly dealbook reconciliations, full balance sheet reconciliation across manufacturer accounts, consolidated head office debtors reporting, posting of marketing recharges to cost centres, technician bonus accruals and commission consolidation. The system was used to process demo control schedules with depreciation posting, clear eDynamix service plan transactions, spool VSB reports for month end, and maintain PAYE and P11D schedules.
Kerridge k8 ERP was integrated operationally with dealerweb on WD1 for dealbook reconciliations, with eDynamix for service plan cost clearing, and with online payment platforms Stripe and AutoTransact for deposit payment supervision. The rollout covered the volume accounts team supporting five dealership brands including Mitsubishi, MG, BMW, Maserati and Lotus, and it handled weekly manufacturer warranty and bonus invoice processing as well as payments made via Lloyds under company authorisation.
Operational governance and workflow changes associated with Kerridge k8 ERP focused on structured month end processes, weekly provision reviews with sites, site stock checks and reconciliations to ensure vehicle accountability, and routing of payment approvals in line with corporate policy. The deployment tied application-level transaction processing to established accounting controls, reporting packs and site level reconciliation disciplines across head office and retail sites.
