Epicor Legacy Epicor Prophet 21 Distribution ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, JF Petroleum Group implemented Epicor Prophet 21. JF Petroleum Group deployed Epicor Prophet 21 as its Distribution ERP to support finance and distribution accounting across a 1500 employee oil and gas and chemicals business in the United States. Implementation scope centered on core financial and distribution capabilities, with explicit operational use for general ledger posting, accounts payable processing, fixed asset management, payroll posting and recurring journal entries. Configuration work included GL posting templates and recurring entry routines, and operational procedures to accrue payroll and 401K items into both Microsoft Navigator GL and Epicor Prophet 21 as required by month end and payroll cycles. Integrations and operational touchpoints reflected a hybrid tooling environment, with fixed asset transactions processed into a Real Asset Management asset system and Concur expense entries prepared and posted into ERP workflows. Billing and expense coding processes were standardized by branch and department, staff created an Access database to aid multi bill coding, and NAV friendly templates were used to hand off coded bills to accounts payable. Operational controls extended to fleet expense management through Wright Express fuel card administration for more than 350 vehicles, and coding of Cell Phone, FedEx and UPS invoices into branch and department cost centers. Governance and financial close processes were executed across two ERP ledgers, with month end, quarter end and year end close activities and adjusting journal entries prepared for both Microsoft Navigator GL and Epicor Prophet 21. The implementation emphasized account reconciliations and recurring posting discipline, with staff accountants responsible for fixed asset roll forwards, monthly depreciation entries and accounts payable accruals in the dual system environment.

Insightsoftware Legacy insightsoftware Jet Analytics Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, JF Petroleum Group implemented insightsoftware Jet Analytics to centralize financial reporting and operational analytics as part of its Analytics and BI footprint. The deployment emphasized rapid provisioning and a dedicated reporting pipeline to reduce demand on transactional systems while enabling business reporting across US operations. The implementation established a dedicated data warehouse and reporting layer, ingesting data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to offload reporting workloads from production databases. insightsoftware Jet Analytics was configured to support finance self service reporting and to provide a semantic reporting model consistent with common Analytics and BI workflows. Integrations focused on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and existing production servers, with data extraction and scheduling designed to minimize load on live systems. Operational coverage targeted finance teams across the companys US sites, concentrating analytics consumption on ad hoc and recurring financial reports. Governance changes emphasized user-driven report creation and a transition of routine reporting tasks from production support to finance self service workflows. According to the vendor case study the solution was operational within 48 hours and improved reporting speed and efficiency so one employee can now perform reporting work previously handled by three.
