The rollout followed an Agile proof-of-concept and co-creation model guided by a digital roadmap and an analytics roadmap to sequence capabilities and sustain change. ORTEC advised on organizational adoption and supported Jumbo Maritime in attracting data-minded talent to embed the new Transportation Management workflows and improve cross-functional cooperation. Reported outcomes include improved ability to set more competitive transportation prices, reduced empty miles through smart algorithms, fuel savings via optimized navigation speeds, and improved cooperation and reliability across departments, which reduced unplanned disappointing results. ORTEC Routing Suite now serves as the operational core for Jumbo Maritime's Transportation Management and for the continued development of smart scheduling and analytics capabilities.
