In 2022, Just Germany implemented SmartStore eCommerce as a connected webshop. The deployment targeted eCommerce for B2B and B2C distribution operations in Germany and addressed a prior data loss by restoring catalog integrity.
The SmartStore eCommerce implementation centralized product information, order management, and customer data, and extended content management to host a Schrauben Lexikon to improve technical content and catalog completeness. Functional capabilities implemented included catalog management, product information enrichment, shopping cart and checkout workflows, and synchronized order capture aligned with ecommerce operational practices. The configuration prioritized reliable data synchronization and content recovery.
Sydesoft Germany served as the system integrator, delivering the integration between SmartStore eCommerce and SAP Business One. Product, order and customer data flows were synchronized with SAP Business One to ensure consistent master data and transactional handoffs between the webshop and ERP. Operational coverage focused on commercial teams supporting both B2B and B2C sales, with downstream impacts on order fulfillment and customer service processes.
The project restored catalog integrity and delivered faster, more reliable synchronization, and improved SEO following recovery from the prior data loss. SmartStore eCommerce now operates as the customer facing webshop for Just Germany, maintaining the product catalog, enriched content assets, and ERP connected order processing.
