OneAdvanced Legacy Advanced OpenHR Core HR HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Kennedys configured Advanced OpenHR to support Core HR processes across the firm, aligning the application to the needs of a 2,260 person professional services organization. The engagement centered on configuring application-level objects and workflows to operationalize employee record management and manager approvals within Advanced OpenHR. Configuration work included implementation of the workflow engine, employee self-service and manager self-service portals, and UI customization. The project built out tables, fields, calculated fields and database views, and standardized forms and screens to reflect firm HR data models and process rules within Advanced OpenHR. The deployment used SQL Server as the authoritative database platform for Advanced OpenHR, with schema design, view definitions and server-side calculations implemented in SQL Server. Security groups were configured to establish role based access control and segregation of duties for HR and manager functions, with access scopes applied at the table, view and UI level. Operational coverage focused on core HR and people management functions, automating approval paths and providing self-service capabilities for employees and managers. Governance emphasized configuration management for tables, fields, calculations and security groups to control change and maintain consistent Core HR behavior in Advanced OpenHR.

Thomson Reuters Elite Legacy Thomson Reuters 3E Financial Management Legal Practice Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Kennedys implemented Thomson Reuters 3E Financial Management as a core Legal Practice Management application. The deployment targeted the firm’s central Finance Operations team based in Chelmsford and London and extended support to finance staff in eight global offices, aligning the system with firmwide cashiering, billing and management reporting workflows. Configuration emphasized modules and capabilities common to Thomson Reuters 3E Financial Management, including fee billing, trust and client account cashiering, accounts receivable and credit control, management accounts and financial reporting. The Finance team configured reporting solutions and operational procedures to produce timely and accurate financial and management information used by Financial Control, Financial Planning and Reporting, Management Accountants, and Credit Control functions. Operational scope covered Legal Cashiers and Billers, the Financial Operations Database function, and the broader Finance Operations team, centralizing transactional flows for cashiering and billing across UK offices. The deployment supported compliance workflows to ensure cashiering processes met Solicitors Regulatory Authority Accounting Rules and local Law Society regulations in other jurisdictions, embedding regulatory checks into day to day cashiering procedures. Governance and rollout emphasized supervised team structures and process controls, including setting and reviewing performance objectives for cashiering staff, ensuring adequate staffing coverage, and using the firm’s online Learning Management System for user training and ongoing skill development. Operational leadership responsibilities were defined to escalate contentious issues through the cashiering management chain and to maintain adherence to established SRA AR compliance and internal financial reporting standards.
