In 2018, Knox Grammar School implemented Alpha School System TASS as a School Administration System to consolidate core accounts payable workflows within the school's finance function. The deployment was centered on day to day invoice processing, staff expense capture, purchase order matching and multi-level approval routing used by the school's finance team and responsible approvers.
Alpha School System TASS was configured to support supplier master data maintenance, coded invoice entry, purchase order matching logic and payment run orchestration. Functional capabilities implemented included accounts payable ledger processing, expense claims handling, statement reconciliation and end of month report collation, with the full application name Alpha School System TASS used for transaction posting and reporting.
Operational procedures show weekly payment runs processed as EFT, cheque and BPAY, generation of bank file output once approved, and emailing of remittance advices after the payment file was sent. Statement reconciliation work was performed directly in the TASS ERP system, and the platform was the primary locus for managing supplier enquiries from external vendors and internal staff.
