In 2022, Korea Exchange implemented Solace PubSub Platform as the core data delivery infrastructure for its EXTURE+ high-speed exchange platform. The deployment is aligned to the API Management category and was configured to support low latency trading across equities, bonds and derivatives markets including KOSPI, KOSDAQ and KONEX, using Solace messaging appliances as the foundation for real-time distribution and market data dissemination.
The implementation concentrated on publish-subscribe streaming, event-driven API patterns, topic-based routing and durable message delivery to ensure ordered, low-latency feeds. Configuration work included appliance-level brokering, persistent message storage to secure extra on-site data copies, and replication to a disaster recovery site to enable rapid failover, reflecting API Management capabilities for event streaming and secure data orchestration within trading workflows.
Operational scope covered all major KRX markets and impacted trading operations, market data distribution and infrastructure teams responsible for DR and site-level data retention. KRX recorded rigorous testing that validated quality, performance and reliability prior to rollout, and Solace PubSub Platform was explicitly used to improve on-site data resilience and to enable rapid disaster recovery as stated in the implementation notes.
