In 2022, Labor Force implemented Datatech Payroll from Datatech Ag. The deployment supported payroll processing for a United States consumer packaged goods company with 20 employees, centralizing payroll execution and operational reporting within a single small business environment.
Datatech Payroll was configured to manage core payroll processing, batch and check generation, and administrative reporting. Configuration emphasized Excel based time imports and structured spreadsheet ingestion, reflecting the existing workflow of creating more than ten daily Excel spreadsheets to input employee hours. The implementation used Datatech Payroll processing to orchestrate payroll runs and prepare batch files for disbursement.
Operational integrations included batch handoffs to Pet Tiger for disbursement while time capture relied on manual Excel uploads into Datatech Payroll. Operational scope was concentrated within payroll operations and labor force management, with a payroll specialist executing generation and submission workflows between January 2022 to January 2023. That specialist generated over 500 payroll checks and batches through Datatech Payroll and Pet Tiger during the engagement.
Governance focused on role based operational controls for the payroll specialist and standardized spreadsheet to payroll procedures to ensure consistent batch processing. The record documents a small company Payroll implementation where Datatech Payroll provided core payroll processing, reporting, and batch orchestration capabilities used by Labor Force.
