In 2019, Lactalis Group deployed BMC Helix ITSM - Incident Management to centralize Incident Management for business application user support. The BMC Helix ITSM - Incident Management implementation focused on operationalizing incident logging, triage, and resolution workflows for Level 2 support teams and formalizing referral paths to Level 3 interlocutors.
The implementation configured functional modules for incident intake, categorization, prioritization, and assignment, together with account configuration workflows to provision and manage application-level access. Service request handling for access requests was modeled through transitions from services supporting an application, enabling handoffs between service transitions and incident queues. The deployment also supported transversal management capabilities for problem solving, aligning multiple application owners around recurring incidents.
Operational scope emphasized Level 2 business application user support across IT and business application domains, with the platform used to coordinate incident resolution, escalate to specialized Level 3 teams, and document configuration changes to application accounts. Governance activities included the implementation and animation of incident management processes, defined escalation interlocutors, and documented service transition flows to manage access requests.
This Lactalis Group BMC Helix ITSM - Incident Management deployment addressed Incident Management business functions by centralizing incident handling, formalizing escalation and access workflows, and enabling cross-functional problem resolution using the BMC Helix ITSM toolset.
