| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft ClipChamp | Video Editing | Content Management | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Languages United implemented Microsoft ClipChamp for Video Editing to support social media and website content creation. The deployment was executed during a Social Media Assistant engagement in Bath England from May 2021 to November 2021, and it targeted short-form content use cases such as word and phrase of the week, student testimonials, a 15th birthday promotion, and a filmed student journey.
Microsoft ClipChamp was used alongside Adobe Premiere Rush and Windows Video Editor for clip assembly, trimming, captioning, and format exports optimized for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Functional capabilities in the Video Editing workflow included timeline editing, basic motion templates, captioning and export presets, enabling staff to process DSLR and mobile footage into social-ready assets.
The content workflow integrated publishing and paid promotion through Facebook Ad Manager, with Insights data actively reviewed to measure engagement and inform future content decisions. Operational coverage spanned marketing and administrative functions of the 50-employee language school, with staff-level deployment on Windows endpoints and web publishing to the company website and social channels.
Governance was organized around role-based content responsibility for the Social Media Assistant, with documented process steps for filming, editing, paid promotion, and engagement review. The engagement also produced observable staff upskilling in video editing and related Adobe workflows, reinforcing ongoing content production capabilities.
