In 2019, Latitude 33 Aviation implemented FlightBridge Travel Management to support charter trip planning and travel logistics. FlightBridge Travel Management is in the Travel Management category and was deployed to centralize booking of hotels, rental cars, and catering for the operator’s charter flights.
The deployment emphasized automation of trip records and itinerary orchestration, using FlightBridge Travel Management to auto-populate trip information and reduce manual data entry. Functional capabilities implemented included vendor reservation search and price comparison for rental cars, hotel booking capture, catering request management, and trip-level itinerary orchestration to consolidate travel services in one system.
The implementation integrated FlightBridge Travel Management with Avinode’s Schedaero flight operations system, enabling bidirectional data flow so selections and reservations push back to Schedaero immediately. Operational scope during the beta phase covered charter sales and trip operations teams at Latitude 33 Aviation, and the integration design supports FBOs, corporate flight departments, operators, and pilots by unifying trip-services workflows across sales and operations.
Governance and workflow changes centered on making FlightBridge Travel Management the single source for travel updates, reducing reliance on email for last-minute schedule changes and eliminating duplicate entry across systems. During beta testing Latitude 33 Aviation reported faster vendor comparisons, noting the ability to find and compare rental car options in about two minutes, and a documented time savings of at least three hours per week from reduced duplicate data entry.
