SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, LEO Pharma implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as part of a global ERP program, establishing a centralized ERP Financial platform for corporate finance and procure-to-pay functions. The program included a designated P2P lead of SAP SRM & SAP ECC in LEO Pharma's global ERP program, reflecting a coordinated effort to align procurement and financial processes under the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation. The implementation concentrated on core ERP Financial capabilities typical for this application class, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and cost and profitability controls consistent with SAP FI and SAP CO functional scopes. Configuration work emphasized master data consolidation, chart of accounts design, transactional posting rules, and invoice verification workflows to support standardized financial close and procure-to-pay operations. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was integrated operationally with SAP SRM to deliver end-to-end procure-to-pay workflows, supplier master management, purchase order processing, and invoice capture and verification. Integration points focused on transactional handoffs between procurement and finance, supporting purchase order matching and automated posting into the ERP Financial ledger, while remaining within the scope of LEO Pharma’s global ERP program architecture. Governance was organized through the global ERP program structure, with the P2P lead responsible for procure-to-pay process design, configuration alignment between SAP SRM and SAP ERP ECC 6.0, testing coordination, and rollout sequencing across LEO Pharma’s corporate finance and procurement teams. Change control and release coordination were managed centrally to ensure consistent process adoption and to align finance and procurement workflows with the new ERP Financial system.

SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core HR HCM n/a 2021 2022
In 2021, LEO Pharma implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR application. The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central deployment aligned with a transition of HR to a Shared Service Centre model based in Gdansk Poland, and it covered HR processes for sales, marketing and manufacturing sites across the UK, USA and Ireland while supporting requirements gathering for Canada and Brazil. The implementation focused on Core HR master data and standard Employee Central functional workflows, including organizational management, employee profiles and time processing configuration. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was configured to support time off and absence workflows alongside employee record management, with developed test scripts targeted at Employee Central, time processing and payroll scenarios. Integrations were explicit components of the rollout, with an interface to Kronos time clocking devices and an interface to payroll processing systems to enable end to end time capture to payroll flows. Operational coverage emphasized national payroll handoffs and time collection across the named countries, with scope spanning both corporate and manufacturing HR functions. Governance and adoption work included creation of process guides, Shared Service Centre user guides and end user instructions, and structured test script documentation to support the Shared Service Centre support team. The program centered on establishing repeatable support workflows and operational handoffs between local HR stakeholders and the centralized Shared Service Centre in Gdansk Poland.

Certara Legacy Certara D360 Laboratory Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, LEO Pharma changed its research data portal to Certara D360, a Laboratory Management application, as part of its research informatics stack supporting Research and CMC domains. The implementation emphasized centralized query and form functionality to improve structured data capture and query-driven access to experimental records within the research data portal. The Certara D360 deployment at LEO Pharma included hands-on Query/Form building and system testing, with configuration work focused on query/browse interfaces and form-based data entry aligned to laboratory workflows. The implementation leveraged configurable data model elements and UI form design to support cross-domain experimental records and analytics-ready metadata, reflecting typical Laboratory Management capabilities such as structured sample and result capture, searchable records, and governed data schemas. Operational ownership rested with internal system managers and data managers who coordinated closely with Global IT and external vendors on technical issues and testing activities. End user training covered Research and CMC business functions and the rollout workstreams included documented user requirements specification, test execution, and preparation of training materials to ensure adoption across research teams. Governance for the Certara D360 implementation included requirements gathering and URS authoring, formal test documentation and validation of Query/Form functionality, and ongoing data stewardship responsibilities for data quality and compliance. System administration and functional support roles within LEO Pharma maintained the Certara D360 environment and supported cross-functional collaborations between research scientists, IT, and vendor teams.
