The initiative tied a clinical implementation of PointClickCare to a finance stack designed to provide a user friendly general ledger and automated monthly reporting across the organization. The technical configuration centered on Dynamics GP for GL, AP, Purchasing, and Budgeting, paired with Microsoft Management Reporter for financial statement production and SharePoint for distribution. Journal entry files from PointClickCare are exported as CSV files, processed through an Excel Integrator where account numbers, debits, and credits are mapped, and then submitted into the Dynamics GP general ledger to preserve census and cash detail from clinical operations. Intellitec Solutions conducted a requirements gathering and configured the GL account structure to enable drill down and department level self service reporting. Management Reporter was configured to generate automated Budget to Actual and monthly financial statements with drill down capabilities, and reports were integrated into SharePoint to allow instant distribution to department heads and operational stakeholders. Operational governance included coordination between clinical and finance teams, end user training with task based exercises, and long term care specific configuration by Intellitec Solutions to align workflows. The implementation delivered key efficiencies specific to Lions Gate CCRC needs, including automated reporting, self service access for departmental managers, and the ability to share reports across departments with the click of a button. |
