Solera Legacy Omnitracs Roadnet Transportation Suite Transportation Management SCM n/a 2011 2011
In 2011 Loffredo implemented Omnitracs Roadnet Transportation Suite as its Transportation Management platform to centralize fleet scheduling and routing. The deployment supported the companys distribution operations and branch and warehouse mobility functions across its United States operations, aligning transportation planning with daily dock departures and hotshot same day deliveries. Omnitracs Roadnet Transportation Suite was configured to manage core Transportation Management capabilities including route planning and optimization, scheduling, live monitoring of runs, and driver performance tracking. The implementation also encompassed fleet maintenance workflows, weekly fuel and mileage reporting, and refrigeration refer reporting to support temperature controlled deliveries. The solution was integrated with on-vehicle telematics and safety tooling, specifically Drive Cam for driver monitoring, and with workforce and payroll systems Kronos and ADP for labor coordination. Operational integration extended to the warehouse management system to pull orders and synchronize delivery windows, and it connected transportation workflows with Safety, HR, Sales, and Customer Service teams to coordinate exceptions and customer commitments. Governance and process changes centered on compliance and operational continuity, including maintaining insurance and IFTA paperwork, daily vehicle inspections to support SQF food safety checks, management of Fuel and DEF logistics, and documented procedures for coverage when warehouse or branch managers were absent. The implementation institutionalized scheduling, routing, monitoring, and reporting processes within the transportation and warehouse functions to support consistent daily shuttle departures and regulatory record keeping.
