Viewpoint Construction Legacy Viewpoint Vista Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Lorig Construction implemented Viewpoint Vista as its primary Construction ERP to centralize project accounting and subcontractor cost control. The deployment served the companys finance and project operations teams in Illinois, and the Viewpoint Vista application was used to ingest and manage invoice, payroll and contract data across multiple trades. Configuration focused on core accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows within Viewpoint Vista, along with project cost accounting and billing capabilities used for Force Account Billing. The implementation included tracking of material and payroll costs for subcontractors, matching material and equipment and qualifying labor to maintain billing accuracy, and managing certified payroll and other payroll compliance items. Operational integration captured field verifications from site engineers, with those reports feeding back into Viewpoint Vista for assessment and document organization. The system handled receipt and processing of invoices, payment analysis, and disbursement of checks, and was used to compile close-out documentation including Waivers of Lien, AIA documents and Sworn Statements. Governance and process changes were driven by collaboration between a Controller and an Assistant Controller who developed detailed spreadsheets and procedures to ensure contract scope compliance and cost accountability. The Viewpoint Vista implementation supported contract drafting and management across asphalt, landscaping, painting, electrical and demolition trades, and was relied upon when tying contract data to amounts for several subcontractors in a legal proceeding.
