In 2019, Lykill HF migrated to the SAP HANA platform and implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its core ERP Financial application, working with Applicon to lead the program. The engagement targeted the financing company’s finance and customer-facing processes and established SAP Fiori apps as the front-end user experience for transactional users and advisors.
The implementation focused on SAP S/4 HANA financial capabilities, including core general ledger, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and integrated financial reporting, with SAP Fiori providing role-based interfaces for operational staff. Configuration emphasized standard ERP Financial workflows and streamlined user interactions through Fiori apps to align day-to-day accounting and customer service operations.
Architecturally the deployment leveraged the SAP HANA in-memory platform as the transactional database with S/4 HANA application services and Fiori UI layers, creating a unified IT platform for finance and customer workflow orchestration. Applicon managed the technical migration and application rollout, integrating the new platform into Lykill HF’s existing IT estate and operational processes without naming additional third-party systems.
Governance and rollout used an agile delivery posture to accelerate adoption, with phased activation of Fiori interfaces and finance modules across the organization. The new SAP S/4 HANA environment and SAP Fiori apps produced an agile IT platform that better supports Lykill HF’s ethos of putting customers’ interests first.
