In 2015, Mace Group deployed Emburse Invoice Enterprise to standardize AP Automation across its United Kingdom construction and real estate operations. | Mercer | Legacy | Mercer Darwin Benefits (formerly Thomsons Online Benefits) | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Mace Group implemented Mercer Darwin Benefits (formerly Thomsons Online Benefits) for Benefits Administration to support HR, Payroll and Finance functions. The Mercer Darwin Benefits deployment was used to manage UK benefits governance, annual enrolment and renewal workflows and day to day benefits administration.
Configuration work emphasized enrolment management, benefit data maintenance, annual renewal administration and generation of employee communications and statements. Administrators used Mercer Darwin Benefits to process enrolment events, manage starter, leaver and change inputs related to benefits, and to coordinate third party payments and vendor enrolments as part of the benefits lifecycle.
Operational coverage explicitly included UK benefits maintained in Darwin, while payroll processing for UK & Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Jersey, Denmark, Netherlands, Greece, Sweden, and Iceland was handled across multiple payroll systems including Huddle, Nextcloud, PWC and ResourceLink. Benefits administration tasks were executed in close operational coordination with HR, Finance, business units and third party vendors, and involved regular payroll and HMRC reconciliations.
Governance and operational ownership rested with Payroll and Benefits Specialists who served as first point of contact for payroll and benefits queries, produced employee communications, supported tax year end activities including P11d support, and conducted monthly payroll processing checks and reconciliations. Rollout and ongoing operations emphasized cross-functional collaboration between HR, Finance and business stakeholders for annual renewals and enrolment cycles.

| Ocado Group | Legacy | Ocado Smart Platform | Retail Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, Mace Group acted as project manager for the grid and peripherals installation of the Ocado Smart Platform at an automated warehouse in Paris. The Ocado Smart Platform is a Retail Management application and the onsite program focused on deploying the physical automation grid and associated peripherals to enable platform control of goods flow. Implementation work included coordination of hardware placement, cabling, control enclosures, and site-level commissioning activities to align the physical infrastructure with the OSP control layer. Activities were conducted within construction and site engineering scope, bridging build teams and Ocado operations to establish go-live readiness.
Operationally the engagement linked the Ocado Smart Platform to warehouse fulfillment and inventory workflows, concentrating on enabling order orchestration and fulfillment capabilities typical of Retail Management systems. Mace Group's project management responsibilities emphasized installation governance, site testing, sequencing of grid activation, peripheral integration, and formal handover processes to Ocado operations. The implementation narrative centers on physical to digital alignment, ensuring the Ocado Smart Platform could operate with the installed hardware and that warehouse operations teams received commissioning documentation and operational readiness support.
