Milsoft Utility Solutions Legacy Daffron Financial Management System ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Futura Systems 2005 2006
In 2005, Magic Valley Electric Cooperative implemented Daffron Financial Management System as an ERP Financial application to support its electric cooperative operations in the Rio Grande Valley United States. The Daffron Financial Management System was deployed to provide financial transaction processing aligned with customer information system driven billing and payment workflows. Implementation scope centered on real-time billing, payment management and work-order tracking through an integrated Daffron CIS billing layer, with module usage for accounts receivable, general ledger posting and payment posting inferred from the CIS integration. Functional capabilities delivered included billing interface orchestration, payment management, and operational workflow support for field work-order tracking tied to financial settlement processes. The deployment integrated Futura Systems IXP toolkit to enable real-time data exchange between the billing front end and the financial back end, and the project context identifies Milsoft Utility Solutions as a vendor within the utility technology stack. Futura Systems acted as the SI providing the IXP integration, enabling synchronous updates between customer billing events and financial ledger entries. Operational coverage targeted billing, customer service and field operations across Magic Valley Electric Cooperative in the Rio Grande Valley, with governance focused on aligning CIS-driven billing events to ERP Financial transaction posting workflows and supporting work-order to billing handoffs. The implementation delivered improved billing and payments and operational workflow efficiencies as reported in the project notes.
