In 2021, Maglificio Gran Sasso implemented ARXivar Document Management to standardize document handling across its new production facility, warehousing and administration. The clothing manufacturer weighed internal development against purchasing a market product and chose a flexible, easily customizable solution supplied by Able Tech to meet a need for a fast and effective document management system.
Deployment focused on capture, archival and automated distribution capabilities aligned with Document Management best practices. The implementation onboarded a passive cycle of 30,000 dematerialised invoices and an active cycle that recovered all active invoices, Bills of Lading and order confirmations dating back to 2009, and all mandatory registers are saved in ARXivar. Payroll and staff office functions were configured to store pay slips and send them to employees by email, and outgoing document workflows were automated to support external mailing.
ARXivar Document Management was provisioned as a centralized repository supporting finance, logistics, human resources and administration, improving record access across production, warehousing and corporate offices. The solution used automated email distribution for payslips and outgoing documents, while document capture, indexing and retrieval workflows were configured to align with company retention and compliance requirements.
The rollout prioritized archive migration and records consolidation from 2009 onward, with governance focused on mandatory register preservation and lifecycle workflows. Configurable routing and automated mailing processes were implemented to operationalize document handling across departments and to enforce consistent document control and retention policies.
