| Esker SA | Legacy | Esker Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Malaysia Airlines deployed Esker Accounts Payable as an AP Automation solution to address growing global invoicing volumes and to integrate with its finance shared services centre. The implementation aimed to support airline specific electronic invoicing through IATA Simplified Interline Settlement while offering on premises global deployment and flexible workflow functions outside SAP.
Esker Accounts Payable was configured with scanning and importing, OCR, data validation, and invoice verification capabilities, with imaging and automated capture of incoming documents. The solution prematches PO related invoices to accelerate processing, generates consolidated reformatted invoices to facilitate verification, and applies dynamic criteria to flag documents by importance.
The deployment integrates directly with SAP posting processes and reconciles SIS EDI invoice batches with corresponding supporting documents and SAP posting information, enabling a synchronized flow between airline EDI streams and the finance ledger. The on premises global architecture was chosen to support Malaysia Airlines global invoicing needs and to maintain full visibility across the invoice lifecycle.
Operational governance centered on workflow tracking from invoice reception through rejection and correspondence tracking, providing end to end visibility for accounts payable and invoice verification teams. The implementation minimized the risk for invoice entry errors, streamlined verification through consolidated invoice records and PO prematching, and preserved paperless invoicing capabilities via SIS electronic invoicing integration.

| Ramco Systems | Legacy | Ramco HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2018 |
In 2014 Malaysia Airlines announced a strategic partnership with Ramco Systems and deployed Ramco HCM as part of a broader suite addressing engineering, maintenance, human resources and financial functions. Ramco HCM was implemented within the airline's Core HR landscape to integrate HR processes with operational and MRO workflows across the group.
The Ramco HCM deployment configured Core HR capabilities including employee master data, workforce administration, payroll interfacing and absence management, aligned to airline HR and crew administration workflows. These Core HR modules were mapped to support personnel certification and role assignments that feed into engineering staffing and maintenance scheduling processes.
Ramco HCM was delivered as part of an enterprise wide engineering solution that included aircraft maintenance, maintenance service sales and operational functions, and it supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul services. The implementation covered Malaysia Airlines group operations including Firefly, MASwings and MASkargo, and it provided synchronized HR status updates to fleet and MRO systems for decision making on desktop and mobile devices.
Governance for the rollout established cross functional processes across engineering, HR, operations and finance to standardize workflows and data flows between personnel records and maintenance operations. The solution was intended to improve and optimise fleet management and to provide advance updates on MRO and engineering matters to operational stakeholders.

| SABRE | Legacy | Sabre Flight Plan Manager | Flight Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Malaysia Airlines implemented Sabre Flight Plan Manager to strengthen Flight Management for flight planning, movement coordination and operational dispatch. Sabre Flight Plan Manager was positioned to centralize flight plan creation and distribution within the airline’s flight operations function.
The implementation included configuration of Sabre Flight Plan Manager alongside Sabre Movement Manager FMCS functional interoperability, enabling automated movement feeds and coordinated plan updates. Typical Flight Management capabilities were configured to support flight plan drafting, validation, distribution to operational stakeholders, and orchestration of movement information between dispatch and operations control.
Integration work focused on system-to-system interfaces with AMOS, Sabre Movement Manager FMCS, Sabre Flight Plan FPM, Pulsera, Pulsera AIMS, SAP and the Esker system. These integrations established data flows for movement events, maintenance notifications and transactional document exchange, aligning flight plan data with maintenance engineering records in AMOS and financial or invoicing workflows in SAP via Esker.
Operational governance established clear interface ownership and message routing between flight operations, maintenance engineering and back-office finance teams. Change control and operational handoffs were implemented to coordinate updates to flight plans, maintenance-triggered schedule adjustments and the downstream document processing supported by Esker.
