In 2007, Marble and Granite implemented Intuit QuickBooks Online as its primary ERP Financial application to manage accounting, payroll, and operational records. The company processes weekly payroll for 25 employees using Intuit QuickBooks Online, and it enters and sends invoices to builders on a weekly cadence through the same application, establishing the platform as the central ledger for customer billing and cash collection workflows.
The deployment is a cloud-hosted SaaS configuration used across finance, operations, field service coordination, and HR recordkeeping. Intuit QuickBooks Online is configured to support accounts receivable invoicing workflows aligned to builders purchase orders, purchase ordering and material requisition tracking driven by those purchase orders, and a maintained repair log that coordinates daily service and repair calls. Operational governance remains owner directed, with the owner assigning tasks and maintaining employee and company files within the QuickBooks Online environment and associated operational logs.

| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor Prophet 21 | Distribution ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2003 | 2004 |
In 2003, Marble and Granite implemented Epicor Prophet 21 as its Distribution ERP. Marble and Granite Inc is headquartered in Westwood, Massachusetts and operates facilities in Westwood and Milford Connecticut with 45 employees serving designers, architects, fabricators, and homeowners across New England.
The deployment centers on Epicor Prophet 21 core ERP capability extended through the Prophet 21 API, which Marble and Granite has used to complete multiple .NET projects and to power a homegrown iPhone and iPad application. The mobile application is configured to check stock, place orders, look up customer information, display delivery schedules, update contact records, and approve open orders, and the company plans to extend the API usage to enter transfers, RMAs, and make slab adjustments. The implementation leverages the extensibility features of Epicor Prophet 21 to read and modify records without altering base ERP code.
Integrations consist of the Prophet 21 API connecting the mobile app and custom .NET services to the Epicor Prophet 21 application, creating lightweight approval and contact management workflows that avoid direct ERP UI access. Operational coverage spans sales, customer service, marketing, and IT, enabling field sales to perform order approvals and contact updates on the road, while customer service and marketing benefit from more current master data and segmentation for outbound email campaigns that run four to seven blasts per week.
Governance and process change were driven by a Lean Six Sigma initiative in 2015 focused on eliminating waste in contact management, shifting data entry toward field updates via the mobile app. As a result of the API-driven workflow and the app, Marble and Granite added or updated more than 2,000 contact records in about three months, and their developer reported that Prophet 21 API documentation and .NET code examples materially eased implementation. Epicor Prophet 21 remains the companys Distribution ERP platform supporting these operational and data governance changes.
