In 2016, Marco's Pizza deployed FranConnect Sky for Franchise Management to centralize franchise sales, recruitment and agreement lifecycle activities across Marco's Franchising LLC. The deployment targeted the Franchise Sales and Development organization, area representatives and corporate franchise operations, supporting nationwide franchise recruitment and signed franchise agreements as primary business functions.
FranConnect Sky was configured to support franchise sales process orchestration, prospect CRM and recruitment workflows, agreement lifecycle management and franchisee onboarding workflows. The implementation emphasized configurable sales pipeline stages, structured prospect qualification, standardized franchise agreement documentation tracking and role based access for corporate and field users, with reporting and analytics surfaced to support strategic planning by the Director of Franchise Sales.
Integrations included the Fran Connect database systems noted by the client and interoperability with Microsoft Office Suite for document generation and reporting workflows. The solution was provisioned as a centrally administered SaaS instance to provide corporate control while enabling field access for ARs and local recruiting teams, facilitating coordinated national and locally based franchise recruitment marketing efforts.
Governance was organized under the Director of Franchise Sales, who led strategic planning, team goals and budgetary planning for signed franchise agreements, and coordinated national franchise recruitment strategy with internal teams and external vendors. Operational processes were adjusted to maintain ongoing franchisee development, train teams on recruiting techniques and to ensure clear handoffs between prospecting, agreement execution and franchisee onboarding.
