In 2020, Marlowe implemented Sage 200 as its core ERP Financial application and engaged Kinspeed to deliver a business wide Professional Services Automation solution integrated with that platform. The rollout addressed complexities arising from growth via acquisition, where new acquisitions used different business management products and third-party add-ons, and aimed to standardise financial and operational processes across all Marlowe divisions.
Kinspeed upgraded Marlowe to a newer version of Sage 200 and delivered a tailored PSA Software layer to centralise project and financial controls, billing orchestration, and operational data collation. Custom configuration of Sage 200 was used to embed VAT handling and compliance logic, specifically enabling reverse charge VAT for CIS, and to remove the potential to submit incorrect VAT figures.
Integration work was executed by Kinspeed developers, who connected critical operational software and existing third-party add-ons into the Sage 200 data model to preserve employee continuity while consolidating transactional and management data. The integrated architecture positioned Sage 200 as the central financial ledger, with the PSA Software feeding standardized operational inputs for onboarding and divisional management.
Governance changes focused on a single system of record for finance and operational reporting, with configuration-led controls for VAT and CIS compliance and process standardisation for onboarding new business and managing divisions. The program delivered a customised Sage 200 ERP Financial implementation, combined with a PSA Software integration by Kinspeed, to unify operations and finance across Marlowe Plc.

In 2022, Marlowe implemented Salesforce Experience Cloud to centralize customer and partner-facing workflows. The Salesforce Experience Cloud deployment targeted Customer Engagement,Customer Experience use cases across WorkNest Ltd and Marlowe PLC group businesses, and was scoped to support CX, Client Management, Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Health and Safety teams.
The implementation combined opportunity automation, renewal automation and CPQ for pricing with DocuSignGen for proposal generation and configurable proposal templates. Customizations included Flows and APEX development, CPQ product configuration, an onboarding chatbot and tailored Business Development Executive page layouts and processes to improve user productivity. Data governance controls and duplicate prevention processes were built into the configuration, and a privacy design was implemented to allow SRA regulated firm data to be stored and visible only to authorised users.
Named integrations explicitly managed as part of the rollout included Zendesk to capture and report Salesforce support queries, Azure DevOps to plan and track development and BAU work, and Monday.com to coordinate cross functional project activity. The program included structured data migrations and acquisition integration projects, with developer and administrator teams executing enhancements and solutions using Salesforce native automation and code where required.
Governance was operationalized through a maintained Salesforce Technology Roadmap and a prioritized product backlog, with review and sign off processes for releases. Communications and adoption were supported by presentations, a custom What’s New page and in app notifications, plus training and guidance documentation. Explicit outcomes noted by the team included a 2 hour per client saving in onboarding support from the chatbot, a 9 percent improvement in Business Development call time from layout and process changes, smoother and more consistent proposal and pricing processes through CPQ and DocuSignGen, and improved development visibility and execution after Azure DevOps adoption.
