International address verification and customs support were implemented to support cross-border shipments and to ensure accuracy of delivery data at point of sale. Operational governance centralized shipping logic into the Easypost API layer, reducing complexity in backend services and enabling the product team to add courier options without expanding custom integrations. The consolidation simplified shipping operations, added real-time tracking and international address verification, and strengthened Massdrop customer experience and operational processes as reported in the case study.
