TRAILD Legacy Traild AP AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2023 2023
In 2023 Matrix Composites & Engineering implemented Traild AP as a core element of its AP Automation capabilities. The deployment focused on the Accounts Payable function across the company and established Traild AP as the invoice validation and workflow engine ahead of final posting and payment execution in Epicor. Traild AP was configured to handle high volume invoice processing, including automated validation workflows and exception routing, while Epicor retained final processing and payment posting. The implementation covered end to end payment processing workflows, from preparing payment proposals to executing mid month and end of month payments, and included pre payment and advance payment handling for both domestic and international transactions using EFT, BPay, and foreign transfers. Additional configured capabilities included credit card reconciliation, validation and processing of employee expense claims submitted through F125 and Zoho, and processing of payroll tax payments for prior month obligations. Integrations implemented as part of the rollout included connectors to Epicor for ledger posting and payment execution, EFTSure for supplier bank detail verification and change management, and interfaces to F125 and Zoho for expense data intake. Operational coverage centered on the Accounts Payable Officer and finance team in Western Australia, with workflows orchestrated across supplier onboarding, bank detail updates, and payment authorization gates. Supplier relationship management processes were embedded in the system, supporting creation of new supplier profiles and structured handling of bank detail change requests. Governance changes formalized validation steps and reconciliation checkpoints, moving invoice validation into Traild AP and reconciliation and final posting into Epicor. Reporting outputs were institutionalized, with weekly cash flow reports and monthly accrual reports produced to ensure accurate financial position reporting. The implementation supported efficient processing of invoices and payments and ensured timely and accurate payouts and reconciliations as described by the Accounts Payable team.
