In 2015 Megamark deployed Cami POS as its Point Of Sale application for Famila store checkouts. Cami acted as the technology partner responsible for onsite provisioning and management of checkout hardware and software during the rollout.
The implementation included cashier POS terminals, barrier checkout installations, self-checkout kiosks and hospitality totems, reflecting Point Of Sale functional coverage for transaction processing, payment terminal orchestration and self-service checkout workflows. Cami POS was configured to support both staffed checkout lanes and unmanned self-checkout flows consistent with retail POS operational requirements.
Deployment scope targeted Famila stores across southern Italy, with Cami managing store-level rollouts aligned to new openings. The vendor reported that the ongoing partnership supported new store openings and local job creation in the region.
