In 2011, Mersino implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise. The deployment established Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as the company ERP Financial system for the 150-employee Construction and Real Estate firm.
The implementation focused on core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing, with configuration to capture daily employee time and billable labor. Time tracking workflows were configured so field crews entered employee time daily, and invoicing and project billing were aligned with verified project paperwork and permits.
Operational coverage extended across finance, project administration, and field operations where staff verified proper paperwork, permits, and project information and used the application to file documentation. Routine operational processes included daily time entry and project documentation filing, while the multi line phone system supported coordination between office and field personnel.
Governance emphasized embedding paperwork verification and daily timekeeping into accounting and billing workflows during rollout, formalizing the verification of permits and project records as part of routine finance operations. Mersino utilized QuickBooks and filed efficiently, with Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise serving as the central repository for project cost and financial records.

In 2024, Mersino implemented Odoo eLearning as part of a companywide Learning and Development rollout hosted on a dedicated Odoo.sh instance, aligning training with its broader Odoo application suite. The Odoo eLearning deployment was embedded into an existing landscape of Odoo modules used by the business, supporting approximately 450 daily users within a 500 person company operating from Auburn Hills, Michigan and across 21 branches in the United States.
The implementation included core LMS capabilities integrated with the Odoo Knowledge and Employees modules for course authoring, enrollment, completion tracking, and user role based access, and leveraged Discuss for collaborative learning and Surveys for assessment and feedback. Functional modules implemented alongside Odoo eLearning include CRM, Sales, Accounting, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project, Timesheets, Field Service, Repairs, Quality, Maintenance, PLM, Documents, Website, Purchase, Expenses, Fleet, Approvals, Dashboards, Barcode, Sign, Data Cleaning, Planning, and Helpdesk, providing a unified platform for operational workflows and training content delivery.
Architecturally the solution was deployed on Dedicated Odoo.sh, with the eLearning instance integrated at the application layer with accounting and manufacturing workflows to align skill credentials with operational roles and certifications. The deployment included customizations developed in collaboration with Odoo Partner Captivea to tailor learning workflows to Mersino’s manufacturing and field service contexts, and the Knowledge application was used to centralize SOPs and repair procedures alongside course materials.
Governance and process changes focused on standardizing user workflows and auditability, using Employees records to provision learners and Approvals and Dashboards to track training compliance and completion status. Data Cleaning and Documents modules were applied to consolidate training records and link course outcomes to project and repair tickets, enabling a single source of truth for operational competencies and certifications across departments.
Outcomes reported in the implementation narrative include faster financial processes and tighter cost control attributed to the broader Odoo suite, and explicit improvements in days to bill and days to collection as business processes were standardized. Mersino cites improved profitability visibility and ongoing growth supported by the integrated platform, with Odoo eLearning positioned as the Learning and Development backbone for role based training across manufacturing, repairs, field service, and office functions.

| Odoo | Legacy | Odoo Maintenance | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024, Mersino implemented Odoo Maintenance as part of a broader migration to Odoo across its Auburn Hills, MI operations and 21 branch network. The deployment consolidated financials, manufacturing, repairs, field service, inventory, and fleet management under a unified Odoo platform, and moved users off Quickbooks and an in-house ERP towards a single application suite with 450 active users and a company headcount of approximately 500 employees.
Odoo Maintenance, the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) implementation, was configured alongside modules for Repairs, Field Service, Inventory, Manufacturing, Quality, PLM, Barcode, Fleet, Accounting, Projects, and Dashboards. The CMMS configuration focused on asset records, work order orchestration, preventive maintenance scheduling, and repair lifecycle tracking to align maintenance workflows with manufacturing and field service operations. Odoo Maintenance and related modules were customized to reflect Mersino’s equipment-centric manufacturing and rental business, enabling maintenance requests to flow into repair orders and inventory reservations.
The environment is hosted on a dedicated Odoo.sh instance, with the Odoo Quickstart internal implementation team delivering an accelerated first phase that brought accounting and manufacturing live within six months. Mersino worked with Odoo Partner Captivea for additional customization and module development, integrating Odoo Maintenance with Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, Repairs, and Field Service to create end-to-end operational processes. The consolidated architecture centralized transactional data and service records, eliminating prior reconciliation gaps between financial and operational systems.
Governance and process redesign emphasized standardized workflows and data entry controls, for example accounting invoice creation driven by guided drop-down selections to reduce billing errors. The rollout progressed from core financials and manufacturing to full operational coverage, with Captivea supporting configuration, training, and iterative adjustments. Explicit outcomes documented by Mersino include materially faster days to bill and days to collection, and the platform has supported company growth to roughly 500 employees with revenue on a path toward $200 million in 2025 while operating Odoo Maintenance as the central Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) capability.
