The deployment targeted the companys aerospace and defense operations that include aircraft modifications, repair and maintenance, avionics, paint applications and interior configurations.
Turnkey Technologies configured accounting, project and inventory modules in a multicompany structure within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, and implemented mobile application capabilities to enable employees to perform project and inventory tasks in the field. Configuration work focused on financial and operational controls, multicompany accounting flows, project cost capture and inventory transaction handling consistent with ERP Financial functional expectations.
BDO led the selection process that evaluated Deltek Costpoint, Unanet and Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, and engaged Turnkey Technologies to represent and deliver the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations implementation. Turnkey developed and executed the implementation plan, aligning system configuration to Defense Contract Audit Agency requirements and embedding compliance controls into project and accounting workflows.
The rollout centralized financial and operational processes across five companies and hundreds of workers, enabled mobile work execution, and established governance and configuration aimed at supporting government contracting audit requirements. After go live Meta Special Aerospace moved to a platform that simplifies government compliance and supports more effective employee and project management.
