In 2014, Metaswitch implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP. This was an ERP Financial program scoped to the finance and FP&A organization at Metaswitch Networks Ltd in London and included migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP to NetSuite as the core transactional finance platform.
The implementation encompassed configuration of finance operational structures, specifically setup and ongoing maintenance of departmental organization and cost centre structure to support automated reporting and budgeting. The project leader also drove configuration for budgeting and planning workflows and coordinated the setup of sales quota and compensation plan processes to be reflected in financial reporting and controls.
Metaswitch led a concurrent deployment of an Adaptive Financial Planning & Reporting system, and that Adaptive Financial Planning & Reporting system was positioned as an integral element of the NetSuite migration and overall FP&A architecture. Operational coverage extended across finance teams locally in London and remote US based analysts, with close business partnering into HR for resource planning and into Sales for quota orchestration.
Governance activities established during the rollout included a formal Executive Quarterly Business Review process with KPI tracking and analysis, production of quarterly Board slides, and a monthly CEO dashboard and summary expenditure report. These governance artifacts were supported by the NetSuite configuration and the Adaptive Financial Planning & Reporting system, and the finance team reported into a US based CFO during the program.
The implementation resulted in an integrated Oracle NetSuite ERP and Adaptive planning environment that enabled more automated financial reporting and budgeting processes and supported ongoing FP&A rhythms. The program also formalized finance business partnering practices and centralized quota and cost centre maintenance to improve operational consistency.

In 2021 Metaswitch implemented DocuSign eSignature as a Digital Signing capability on its public website. DocuSign eSignature is embedded to provide electronic signature capture and in-session signing for customer facing document workflows, enabling online agreement acceptance and consent capture without redirecting users offsite. The deployment emphasizes web-based signature flows and the native DocuSign eSignature experience for external document execution.
The implementation centers on website-delivered signing workflows, using standard Digital Signing functional modules such as template management, envelope creation and recipient routing, signature validation, and audit log preservation. Operational scope is focused on customer interactions on the Metaswitch website, with governance oriented around centralized templates and audit trails to maintain signature traceability and tamper evidence. The approach keeps the signing process within web sessions to streamline contract execution and customer consent capture while preserving the full audit record provided by DocuSign eSignature.
