Infor SunSystems was configured for core financial management, including general ledger, multi currency accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, consolidation and statutory and management reporting. Configurations emphasized chart of accounts harmonization, multicurrency consolidation workflows and automated period end controls consistent with ERP Financial best practices.
The deployment architecture centralized financial processing and reporting while retaining entity level posting capability to support regional accounting teams and group consolidation activities. Operational scope covered finance and accounting departments across M&G's international footprint and supported consolidated reporting and compliance workflows.
Governance was aligned to the International finance transformation programme with phased rollout, role based access controls, process standardization and program level change control for chart and posting rules. The implementation leveraged Infor FMS 6.1 configuration patterns to drive standardized financial close workflows and centralized control of accounting policies.
