In 2022, Micropulse implemented Exact Synergy as its Document Management platform to centralize document control and workflow across the manufacturing business. The deployment retained JobBOSS for shop floor job management while adding Exact Synergy and Exact RPA, the projects completed over a six month implementation and supporting more than 200 named users in the system.
Exact Synergy was configured to support core Document Management use cases including device master records DMR, HR records, workflow management, machine maintenance records, quality system documentation, employee training records, electronic inspection recording, part number management, and IT ticket tracking. The implementation leveraged Exact Synergy workflow capabilities to orchestrate review and approval routing and to store signed artifacts for regulated processes.
GLM bridged integration gaps between JobBOSS and Exact Synergy by deploying Exact RPA as an automation and integration layer. Because JobBOSS does not expose an API, the Exact RPA built in SQL provider was used to read and map JobBOSS data into Exact Synergy, centralizing data flows without requiring source system API access. A second project integrated Adobe Sign with Exact Synergy using Exact RPA and GLM’s Adobe Sign add on, enabling users to send documents in bulk from within Synergy, track signature status, and ingest signed documents back into Exact Synergy.
Operational coverage spanned quality, maintenance, HR, and IT functions at Micropulse, aligning document control with manufacturing and inspection workflows for surgical instruments and sterilization trays. GLM served as the implementation partner for the integration work, and the solution stack included Exact Synergy, Exact RPA, JobBOSS, and the GLM Adobe Sign add on.
