| Oracle | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Milacron migrated its Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment to Oracle Cloud ERP. The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation targeted finance and operational reporting for a manufacturing footprint, provisioning the application for more than 1000 users across seven countries. The work was centered on ERP Financial capabilities to consolidate transactional financial processes into a cloud SaaS architecture.
Configuration and module work included core Oracle Cloud ERP financial capabilities and development of business cases to extend financial coverage, specifically for Treasury, Inventory, Backlogs, Working Capital and a Standard Cost Model on the company's in-house financial reporting tool. The program also drove Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services for the global finance team's annual budget planning and forecasting, while managing implementation of an EPM solution through OneStream. Oracle Cloud ERP was positioned to serve as the primary financial ledger and control plane for those extended reporting efforts.
The Oracle Cloud ERP rollout was integrated with other enterprise systems in scope, including Salesforce Field Service Lightning for field operations and Oracle Configure Price Quote tools for sales quoting, and the in-house reporting environment for financial reporting. The migration program managed 18 vendors and a project team that included multiple system integrators and internal resources, coordinating cross-system data flows and cutover sequencing across sites. Integrations focused on transactional handoffs between ERP Financial processes and sales and service execution systems.
Governance and delivery were organized with centralized project management, daily oversight of Process and Project administrators for Salesforce and CPQ, resource planning and work package allocation, and regular technical status reviews to drive decisions and keep the migration on track. Project leadership was accountable for vendor management and prioritization of finance module builds, establishing Oracle Cloud ERP as the core ERP Financial system supporting Milacron's global finance, sales quoting and field service workflows.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Milacron deployed Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) as its Field Service Management solution, executing a global rollout covering more than 300 users in service and operations roles. The implementation leveraged Salesforce’s cloud architecture to centralize scheduling, dispatch and mobile workforce coordination, positioning the Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) application as the operational backbone for field technicians and service planners.
Configuration work focused on core Field Service Management capabilities, including work order lifecycle management, appointment and service scheduling, dispatcher consoles, mobile technician enablement, and parts and inventory tracking at service sites. Standard Field Service automation and configurability were applied to translate service processes into appointment templates, service resource profiles, and skills-based routing rules.
Operational delivery included ongoing administration and governance through a dedicated team of Process and Project administrators who supported daily system operations and configuration changes. Project governance responsibilities retained by the IT project manager included resource planning, allocation of work packages, vendor coordination for adjacent projects, and periodic technical status reviews to drive implementation decisions.
The implementation was executed alongside broader enterprise IT initiatives, with the same program team managing Salesforce administrator activity and Oracle CPQ related administration, providing coordinated operational support across service, sales configuration and ERP adjacent programs. This alignment reinforced Field Service Management as an integrated operational capability within Milacron’s service and commercial workflows.
