Microsoft Microsoft Dynamics GP Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Arctic Information Technology 2021 2021
In 2021 Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment was driven by a corporate decision to move business systems off the casino infrastructure to achieve business continuity for multi-location tribal operations and to support five lanes of business including gaming, marketing and technology, in district businesses, hospitality, and government contracting services. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations implementation focused on core ERP Financial capabilities, including financial management, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, and multi-entity accounting to support consolidated reporting across distinct business lines. Configuration emphasized role-based security and segregation of duties to reflect regulatory boundaries between gaming and non-gaming activities. MLCV retained the Microsoft platform continuity by operating with Office 365 and moving corporate workloads to the Microsoft 365 cloud, and they migrated transactional finance functions from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Arctic Information Technology served as the systems integrator for the cloud migration and managed services transition, enabling centralized patching and cloud management across endpoints while preserving compliance requirements tied to tribal and state gaming regulators. Governance changes included separating gaming operations into distinct operational and compliance zones, updating security controls to a multi-layered cloud model, and centralizing managed services for updates and monitoring. Rollout prioritized the corporate office and non-gaming businesses to create isolation from casino infrastructure and to enable staged provisioning of business applications as needs evolved. As stated by MLCV stakeholders, outcomes from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations deployment include improved agility to deploy business applications, ensured compliance through separation of gaming systems, diversity in technology to manage a portfolio of businesses, enhanced security through scaled cloud safeguards, and managed services for consistent updates and patches across the enterprise.

Agilysys Legacy Agilysys Lodging Management System Real Estate Property Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures implemented Agilysys Lodging Management System to consolidate core Property Management functionality for its lodging and guest operations. The deployment centered on a centralized Agilysys Lodging Management System instance serving reservations, front desk, housekeeping, guest folio and billing workflows, and rate management to align operational control with property operations. Configuration work focused on standard Property Management modules, including reservation lifecycle orchestration, front desk check in and check out, housekeeping status and assignments, guest folio posting, and rate configuration and restrictions. The implementation leveraged typical Property Management automation for workflow routing and audit trails, and the system was configured to enforce consistent guest accounting and room status reconciliation across operational teams. Agilysys Lodging Management System was supported alongside InfoGenesis POS, VisualOne, and Datamagine, with explicit integrations for transactional and operational data exchange. Point of sale transactions from InfoGenesis POS were posted to the lodging folio for consolidated guest billing, VisualOne was integrated to synchronize workforce and shift data with front desk and housekeeping schedules, and Datamagine was used to aggregate operational and transactional feeds for reporting and analytics. Governance was organized around cross functional IT, finance, and operations stewardship to manage configuration, rate updates, and release coordination for Agilysys Lodging Management System. Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures Agilysys Lodging Management System Property Management supports core lodging and guest management business functions, and the supporting suite of InfoGenesis POS, VisualOne, and Datamagine established an operational technology stack for ongoing operations and analytics.
