In 2021, Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone implemented Corridor Contract Management as a Contract Lifecycle Management application to support legal operations and billing coordination. The deployment focused on centralizing contract records and standardizing contract lifecycle workflows for the firm, aligning the application to legal, billing, and administrative business functions across its US practice areas.
The implementation configured core Contract Lifecycle Management capabilities including a centralized contract repository, clause and template libraries, approval routing and workflow automation, obligation tracking, and audit trails for contract changes. Configuration work emphasized integration points that enable invoice and matter level linkage, and role based access for billing coordinators, attorneys, and administrative staff.
Corridor Contract Management was integrated into the firms existing billing and matter management processes, with explicit touchpoints to Aderant and Iridium Prebill Viewer and to multiple electronic invoice submission channels. The Rollup of e billing and vendor portals included Legal Tracker Serengeti, CounselLink, Tymetrix, IQ Navigator, Collaborati, Corridor, Passport, Onit, Simple Legal, DropBox, and BottomLine as systems used for electronic invoice submission, LEDE file handling, and rejection remediation.
Governance and operational process changes formalized invoice submission workflows, LEDE file research and remediation, timekeeper rate and accrual updates, WIP reviews, and audit letter handling. The rollout oriented billing coordinators and legal staff to new approval routing, rejection remediation procedures, and integrated record updates, with configuration aligning Corridor Contract Management to existing Aderant driven rate and billing data workflows.
