In 2015, Mitsubishi Estate implemented In-House ATS. The In-House ATS serves as an Applicant Tracking System deployed on the corporate careers site to centralize candidate intake for recruiting and talent acquisition.
The deployment emphasized core Applicant Tracking System capabilities including job posting management, candidate application intake, candidate tracking, and workflow automation for screening and interview scheduling. Configuration work focused on aligning application forms and approval routing to Mitsubishi Estate hiring policies. The narrative reflects standard ATS functional modules implemented in house rather than a commercial vendor solution.
As an in house application the system is operated within Mitsubishi Estate infrastructure and surfaced through the company website for external applicants. Operational coverage centers on HR and recruiting teams supporting hiring for construction and real estate business functions across the company. Integrations are limited to the website based intake flow as explicitly stated.
Governance and process controls were oriented to centralize candidate data and standardize hiring workflows within HR operations, with configuration managed by internal IT and HR stakeholders. The implementation narrative is drawn from the stated use of In-House ATS on their website.

| Hyperledger | Legacy | Hyperledger Fabric | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Mitsubishi Estate implemented Hyperledger Fabric as its Blockchain Platform for the OMY Data Utilization Project. The initiative used Fujitsu’s Virtuora DX, a cloud based data distribution and utilization service built on blockchain technology, to provide a secure environment for cross company data sharing in the Otemachi Marunouchi Yurakucho district.
The project launched in May 2018 under the Marunouchi UrbanTech Voyager umbrella and began as a field trial with four consortium members. Mitsubishi Estate contributed building power and commercial facility sales data, Softbank Corp. supplied anonymized human movement behavior data, and the University of Tokyo Ohsawa Laboratory supplied analytics expertise and the Data Jacket and KeyGraph mechanisms to summarize data metadata and visualize connections between datasets.
At the architectural level the deployment combined Virtuora DX’s cloud hosted data distribution capabilities with Hyperledger Fabric as the Blockchain Platform to enable secure, permissioned data exchange, data matching, and shared insight workflows across participating organizations. Functional capabilities emphasized in the implementation included data anonymization and metadata summarization, distributed data sharing, and visualization driven data matching to support urban renewal use cases.
Governance and rollout were consortium oriented, aiming to expand membership and promote open innovation across industries, with explicit business objectives of energizing shops and commercial facilities, revitalizing tourism, and visualizing and modeling human movement behavior. The platform was positioned to facilitate data exchange and generate insights that benefit Mitsubishi Estate’s urban development initiatives.
